Foxwood House

Create a truly memorable experience on your special day by hosting your outdoor wedding at Foxwood House. Located in beautiful Pend Oreille County between Newport and Diamond Lake. Just a short 35 minute drive North of Spokane and only a five minute drive South of Newport. Foxwood House sits on 10 acres just off of highway 2.

Enter the tree lined drive way through two brick pillars. Before you, you will see a 6200 square foot Victorian Home entirely built by home owners Roger and Jeanine Shawgo. Construction began in 1999.

In the back yard there sits a 1950’s Texaco Gas Station, a Saloon, a Victorian Cottage, a Gazebo and a 20×30 pergola. The choice is yours for your wedding ceremony location.

The Bride and her attendants will be ushered up the oak staircase to the turret room to prepare for the ceremony.

The Groom and his men are escorted to their private changing room at the back of the house.

We will direct your wedding guests to the wedding area to relax and visit in the ever expanding back yard while awaiting the festivities.

Foxwood House is a private home and only the brides wedding party is allowed inside.

Foxwood House will do everything possible to make this very a special day for you. We will handle the complete set up and tear down of the tables and chairs along with the placement of the centerpieces and flowers.

Clean up will be done in a fashionable manor so as not to disturb the wedding party.

Polar Plunge for Jordan Simon in SPIRIT Lake Idaho

I am so proud of the 25 who took the Plunge!! Spirit Lake, Idaho had about 100 folks on the sidelines giving their best cheers. Thank you to the Timberlake High School Parents who started this. Last year they had a about a total of 20 folks in total, so with the 2nd year year, you can see this is a growing event. This year the funds raised will go to the Simon family, who's 22 year old son Jordan Simon was struck by a tree along with a passenger in their truck on their way home in Twin Lakes during one of the worst storms here in 30+ years. This town is growing in Spirit and really set things in motion for the 2016 New Year!! PROUD to call these folks neighbors!!
